Not OT: She's here!!

My little Sunshine was brought today by the UPS guy. This is the Kenmore 158.1020 I won on eBay. She is the basic machine of the

1020-1060 series.

She is resting after her long trip from Florida to coastal California, and will get a test drive on Wednesday [our furlough day].

Whoo-hoo! Ginger in CA

Yay!! Ginger, I'm really glad you won that auction. What a great little machine, and remarkably what you wanted. That makes it a great find for you and for Sunshine (I just love having a namesake).

Hugs, and happy stitching, Sunny

Oh Happy Day!

There's nothing like getting a new toy, especially when it's a sewing machine. I hope it's everything you dreamed of and more...Donna

Oh what fun to get a new-to-you toy...I know you'll enjoy that neat little machine!

We simply can't wait until tomorrow. Can't you at least tell us that her arc is wonderful and that she is beautiful? Polly

Oh, she is down right purty. She is setting on my dining tablette [my table that seats 4] overseeing everything. They say that the little attachment box that you can remove to make a free arm often yellows out with age, but this one is in great shape and color. The little hinged extension table is there and working also. Her serial number is

0001039, but I cannot figure out her birthate from that. The only thing I can see so far is that one of the hinges on the top clamshell has a split on one of the little middle sections.

She is just about over her jet lag. Well, time zone lag. She was on a UPS ground route for 10 days.
