Not OT: Sunshine

Sunshine is the name I had given to my little Kenmore 158.1020 I recently won on eBay. This weekend I finally got a chance to sew on her.

She is a gem! She has no rust, no chipped paint, even the little plastic box that comes off to access the bobbin and also holds the extra feet, is not yellowed out at all. Wound bobbins just fine, sewed and purred right along.

And boy howdy! her weight is really nice to lug from one spot to my dining room table where I sew!

Congrats! eBay is always an "iffy" kind of thing... Really glad you found a winner!

Now sew away! and enjoy every minute of it!

Those little "Kennies" are sweet machines, Ginger! I love the way everything fits in the case and in the little compartment under the bed...just grab it and go! I'm glad it found it's way to you!

Hmm, I was thinking of finding a decal of some sort. Until I saw a gal at one of the retreats with stickers and all on her machine, I thought is would be sacreligious to do that. But it looked really cool!

Hey Ginger, with so many quilters sporting tattoos, what's the big deal with putting one on a sewing machine? ;) Pat chuckling in Virginia
