I spent a few days in Fountain Hills in March with a close friend. What a nice town! Although I hate the summer heat in the Arizona desert, I could almost live in Fountain Hills.
So, Butterfly, where are you living that's close to Fountain Hills?

Hm. all you would have had to do was ask and I could have sent you there ...QD is a great store and a friend of mine, Jan teaches there. They have some nice classes. There will be enough dry days to keep you happy here I think. Glad you are getting settled. xoxo Jeanbaby
Sorry, I didn't know we were going until today after lunch . DH even went in, asked if I was looking for anything 'special', and then waited for me outside. So.....are there any 'other' LQS's around that I need to know about?

There is a store of supplies and some fabrics on Indian Bend, the Bernina Store.
There is also a big JoAnn's right across the street from the Bernina Store same street.
Another big JoAnn's on Tatum and the 101.
That should keep you in fabrics along with the one you already found. You can get ready for the stash raid from visitors. ha ha

oops.... The Bernina Connection is on Indian School, not Indian Bend..... confusing I know. And it is about 42nd St.?? The JoAnn's is at 32nd St. and is where I used to work. The JoAnn etc. store is in the Scottsdale Pavilions, and I believe Sew from the Heart is there too. Lots of quilt/fabric places in the Phoenix metro area.

Yep Sew from the Heart. Guess that is where I took my Bernina classes. We are ...I think...talking about the same place. We should be able to get Bfly into lots of fabric troubles. ha ha I didn't know there was another Bernina on Indian School. Have to check that out. Jeanbaby

Ragmop/Sandy--hoping you take your time about unpacking stash, wait until January, at least, when the temps are cooler and some of us go traveling... ;->
And why not? The house IS air conditioned and at no time is it close to 100° inside.
If'n you wanna know where the green is, you'll just have to ask Ginger, since she is the one that put it into the bins for me and I ain't talking:) I'm only unpacking what I'll be using --letting the rest stay where it is for now:)
January--I'll pencil you in on the calendar then--you may be just in time to help us move into "OUR place". I won't say 'no' to an offer like that.....
