'Objectionable' quilt at Virginia show

Not to stir up a hornet's nest, but I can see how lots of people would say that those Renaissance paintings and sculptures are serious "ART" with a capital "A". And it's what they think art should be.

I think people get more worked up over the type of art quilts in question because they aren't used to thinking as quilts or any type of fiber or needlework as "art". To most people, their just blankets or pillows or whatever.

Whether it's art or a quilt, I just think it's ugly. I think Picasso's stuff is ugly too, so there ya go.
