OT A Blue Ribbon! Off Topic

Off topic, but a blue ribbon nonetheless! I a member of the County Master Gardeners. Every year we volunteer to make the exterior decorations for a 18th Century Home near Yorktown Battlefield. If you were in Yorktown ... it is the last Main Street house, right next to the monument.

The decorations are Colonial in style. This year I did solo work on two window wreaths, and helped with two others. The house also had four crescents, a big door wreath and two fence decorations. This past weekend, the house sported a blue ribbon ... best decorated!! Yippee!!

Pat, I know the house...I'll bet it's beautiful! We used to sit in front of it to watch the parade on Yorktown Day! I also know some of the other "gardeners"...remember the moss garden?

I took pictures when we put it together. I have no way to post photos. After the New Year, I'll try to establish an album someplace. I need to get with the 21st Century!
