OT: Alive and well

Hi Guys,

I'm still without Internet service -- and phone -- since the big blow over the weekend. What a mess. At least we've got electricity. Thousands of people in town are still without power and the temp is supposed to drop to zero F tomorrow. I'm writing this at the library. Running out of Internet time, LOL. Anyway I wanted to say HI and let you know I'm not ignoring posts. My sister posted for me a couple days ago. She is the best sister in the universe. So, hope all is going well, everybody is piecing and quilting and making pretty things or just hugging their nifty fabric.

And thankyou!!!!! a thousand times to Ginger for the world's best squishie. Ginger, just when I needed a serious lift your package came along. That cheery little piggy bank and the beautiful fabrics amazed me. You are a dear friend.

Hugs and happy dances to all, Sunny

Two of my sisters live not too far from Sunny. One was able to stay in her house, but that is exactly where she is - can't get anywhere. The other one had to go get a room at a motel close to her work so she could get there [she is a nurse]; her DH has a 4WD truck so he could get to the other side of town near their house to get to his job [security at one of the hospitals].

I dunno, it was 80 degrees here yesterday, but t> Where are you Sunny? NW USA or

And tonight, we got 6" in two hours in Seattle!! Weird weather indeed. My DH is out doing his ministry with the homeless in 19 deg F and snow, and youngest DS is stranded at my house (not that I'm complaining about that). Prayers for all who have less blessings than me; I have power & heat and a dryer that works to do laundry. Nothing quilty done today, but I did clean out the rag closet and and make a pair of corduroy trousers for youngest DGD.
