OT: as expected ...

I'm on big doses of prednisone. I took one last night after dinner. Although I spent the night feeling like ants were crawling under my skin, I woke up with some energy and my head is un-fogged for the first time in weeks.

Dr. did thyroid tests, along with whatever else requires multiple vials of blood.

Oh yeah, I weighed 6 lbs more this morning than I did last night, despite having a piece of fruit for supper. By tomorrow I expect it will be joined by another 5 or 6. That is what I fight having to take this nasty, life-saving stuff so hard.

Please let Polly know. She sent me an email and I replied, but I don't know if she could get it.

Hugs and thanks so much for the prayers. I can feel all that goodness working right now.

Love, Sunny

I will certainly join in with heart and hands. Sunny, hang in there. The weight gain is a problem, but it does help you gain some energy and keep going. I know of people who have been on predisone for life. And those who only have to take it for short periods. I was fortunate when I was on it to not gain a lot of weight, and be able to get off it very quickly.

Good luck, and we are all holding you close in our thoughts. Pati, in Phx
