Dave called me last night

He called about supper time here just to rub it in to me that he was with Rick Springfield last night. He was doing his concert last nigth in OKC. I like RS. He said he looks real good for being his age he is.

We talked about other things to. I asked him if he would be able to go to a scrapbook retreat in Fort Morgan Colorado in Oct. It is being sponsered by Simple Scrapbooks I believe. I am checking it out and thinking about it. I also have a few friends from California thinking about coming to it. They are 2 I cruised with for a few years.

Well I got a project to get done before next Friday's crop in Abilene. I went by yesterday (was there to pick up furniture I bought on ebay) and she gave me some stuff and asked me to do a display altered book for her store. So i have something I have to get done.

Miss not hearing from him. How is life treating him?

Do wish there was a retreat this way to go to.........I am going to be in need of some serious me/scrapbook/rest time after this summer is over.

Dave works real hard during the summer almost 7 days a week. He works at the park and delivers sets and picks up sets, chauffers concert people and a lot more that takes most of his day. I have a piece of furniture to go get at his house but time and trying to get together it has been a hassle right now. Hard to catch him at home. He is in and out and very little time on the computer if any. I had to send his birthday in 2 parts... one to his job and another to his home so if he misses one he would at least get one on his birthday day! I might see him here in a few weeks but not sure yet.

Sounds like he's been very busy. I sure miss seeing his posts here. Hopefully he can pop in and say hi sometime.

Well...we miss him...but thanks for posting for him April! Sounds like he's got a pretty packed schedule this summer. Tell him hi for all of us next time..

Is he not working for the magician anymore? I've had both of you on my mind lately April. thanks for letting us know and be sure to tell him he's missed. If I can ever get ahold of my cousin in OKC I've been wanting to come back down there. You know I want some of that Ted's!

Thanks for updating us, April. I thought summer was his busiest time of the year. When you can, give him a big 'ol squishy hug from all of us!
