Cropped Last Night

I went to a crop last night - this time they stayed until late. I left at 11 PM when my DD packed up to head for home. I finished the second page to my 6x6 (16) LO's for the barn as the brads finally came in. Then I completed 5 LO's and sorted through two boxes of photos of my oldest DS and DD when they were small. That felt really good. I have two more boxes to go and all of my photos will be sorted into working boxes. I purchased one of those big photo organizer boxes from CM. DD and I had a blast looking at those photos - though I do hate the quality of the photos. Times have really changed. I think the older black & white photos of my childhood are much better quality than the photos of my own children in the 70's. Of course we couldn't afford a good camera and a cheap Kodak was all we had. I signed up for the next recipe swap at the crop - they are not due until the end of April so I think I can manage this one. They also had a Stampin Up Demonstrator there last night and I ordered one of those big monogram stamps. Does anyone know if they will be in the new catalog? I noticed they are in the small one that ends in May. I would like to get a couple more, but with the trips coming up I do need to save my money.

Sounds like a fun night! I missed my usual Friday as it was Em's b'day! I've seen those monograms but stayed away due to the cost! Hopefully they will be around for a while so you can get the ones you want. Barb:o)

So, glad to hear your crop was fun this time and you got a lot done. I agree about those 70's photos. My folks had a decent camera and they are oddly colored photos even then.

Sounds like you had a great night! I haven't even started my 6 x 6 pages for the Barn. I'd better get started on those.

I haven't a clue if the Monogram alphas. will make it into the new catalog. Stampin' Up! has stated that "many" of the sets in the mini catalogs will NOT make it into the new catalog. But that still means that some of the mini catalog sets could make it into the next big catalog. There's no telling! SU keeps things very hush-hush when it comes to the next Idea Book & Catalog. LOL
