OT birthday confusion in directory.

I have received a birthday squishie and an e-card for my birthday. However my birthday is not until January.

The sender of the card asked if I had looked in the directory. I have and I can see the confusion. In UK we write our birth date with the day first followed by the month then year. In my case it is 11/1/1936.

But in USA mode it means the 1st of November. I shall have to watch out for that in the new directory when it comes out.

So thanks for the early birthday greetings from the two people who know who they are. Hugs Shirley

Well the presents would be okay but unfortunately not the cake unless it was made with Splenda because I am diabetic. Shirley

I had a little of this too (9/12/56). Not to worry - it just makes the birthday start early and go on longer - always a good thing! ;)
