OT: DGD update

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers group! We've now gone from "cautiously optimistic" (words from the docs) to "if her lungs keep improving as they are they may consider discharging her" to go home and finish recouping at home.

Such a huge relief, as Tues night one of the Drs made a comment idicating that her lungs were so bad, she may not pull thru!

DGD is going to have a lot of recuperating to do, and will probably have to work real hard to catch up with school. She is into competitive dance, and Tai Kwon Do, and I'm pretty sure she will not be doing either for a month or two. She will be quite disappointed to find out she won't be able to dance in the competition in April. But miracles do happen, so maybe???

Grampa & I are happy that we still have our beloved granddaughter!

Oh that's wonderful news Marilyn. There may be a high hill of 'getting better' to climb; but she's obviously a little fighter, bless her. Thanks so much for letting us know. . In message , Marigold writes
