Well, after over a week of no newsgroups, Earthlink has slapped a hotpatch or something over the hole and I'm getting today's messages. If I missed anything important over the past week, would someone please update me? Otherwise, love and hugs to everyone and enjoy your holidays!

i'm just glad to hear from ya. after the news from there on the nasty storm i was nearly ready to send out the troops to find ya. whewwwww!!!! ok, so maybe if you download the full list of ng's off earthlink again it will work? sometimes i've heard of folks having to do that with their ISPs. any damage to your place or near you? how did they fare (sp?) out at honeys place? heard from donna in bellevue? who else lives up that way that we've not had check in yet? very little time for me online this week or so. stuff keeps needing doing round here then i'm too tired to get online. the baskets are full on this week too so figure i'll be driving soon. might be today or not but soon i've no doubt. had our best friends dd get married on Saturday, that was quite a wedding and party...and all in their own backyard, all catered with staff so it was really well done, great food, lots of plonk, danced til 2am...considering the service was at 4:30, i think all us oldies did damn good to last that long, lol. hugz from here, jeanne

Well, my goodness! This explains why there were "only" 500 or so messages waiting for me when we returned from our cruise! As it is, I'll have to mark most of them read and start fresh, but what a relief not to have several thousand! LOL!
Oh but, Sandy, hidden in those was the news that Butterfly is to run for President; and Polly is expecting a happy event. Check the Archives for them!

My goodness again! It seems that I've missed some truly amazing announcements. The newspapers here in LV seem a bit behind the times, as I can find no mention of Butterfly's presidential race. As for Polly's happy event, there are no words....
