As of tomorrow evening, the George R. Brown will officially close its doors as a shelter. They are still trying to get any stragglers into more permanent/long term housing accomodations.
To those of you who have asked about donations - I thought I would post this so that you would know where your donations might be, already, or where they may go in the coming days and weeks. This is extremely well organized and seems to be working quite well.
