it's finished!! woohoo!!

Ok... my nine patch colour wheel, the one I keep posting about? I just put in the last stitches in the binding and the baby is DONE!

If you look, you may see some pink or blue lines, that's just chalk. I hope the recipient likes roses. They seemed to be the right flower to fit in the blank spaces and they're the easiest to freehand.

I took the advice from here and doubled up the quilting in the border - I don't think you can see it though, in the photos. I just did twice the number of leaves and I added more, smaller roses all along the border.

I'm so happy with it. Heck, I don't care if she hates it because then she can give it back to me, right? ;-) (she won't hate it, but I sure would love to keep it!)
