OT have no bananas?

as long as you dont use fresh pineapple and expect it to be the same. fresh pineapple has some enzyme in it that breaks down protein, hence great for marinating meats to bbq/grill but not so hot for any proteins(milk products) you wish to stay in their original state. much like papaya and kiwifruit and a few other tropical fruits no doubt do. i've used crushed pineapple in sour cream as a whipped cream substitute, that works well. ok, now i'm getting hungry, dinner is cooking, mmmmmmmm, lamb curry from last night roast leg. i hope hes put some raisins in it. :) cheers, jeanne

Just so I don't have to get out the dictinory, please explain episiotomys. I'm thinking bruises and scrapes. Thanks, Barbara in SC "nzlstar*"

Not really -- I'm allergic to all the grains that have gluten (along with half a dozen other severe food allergies). So I'm not a celiac, but I'm SO grateful for all the cookbooks and products put out for them. :)

Not bruises and scrapes...but the cut you get to help ease the baby out during birth.

I enjoyed reading it. But then, I have no children so never had that particular need of papaya. Debra in VA See my quilts at

I'm more partial to the Harry Chapin version from the 70s....."Thirty Thousand Pounds of Bananas". That's the one I'm stuck on.

There are some great recipes on the Dove's farm site. I pop in there for ideas when my celiac friend Julie is coming...

if you have to ask, you either don't want to know or need to know. choice depends on sex and whether you plan to be involved in child birthing.

[even as a guy, it ain't fun and then you have the afterwards, maybe for the next 20 years or a lifetime]
