OT Here is a fella that needs to lose his license!

I'm not generally one to go posting every alcohol related traffic thing, but this guy was _so_ damn lucky! And so was everybody on the street between where he started and where he ended up.

Foote avenue is about six blocks east of my street, a four lane and one of the busiest streets in town. It was just a miracle he didn't hit another car, even at almost 10:00 at night. The intersection where they caught the guy (on foot) is far enough away from where his truck ended up to make me wonder what his BAC was before he ran.

That guy NEEDS to be off the streets! Sheesh!

I was so angry today at a 20-something driver I acted like a complete busybody and shrew. We had a lot of snow (11"), and just after I put my snowthrower back in the garage I saw my 84 year old neighbor in the street PUSHING A PICKUP TRUCK while the driver spun his wheels and yelled at the old man! I went over there, told the man to stop, and to trade places with Henry, who can drive on snow better than anybody I know, and to push his own truck while Henry got behind the wheel. They switched, and I went to the 20-something driver, and told him that Henry is 84, has a bad heart, and is such a nice guy that he would push that damned truck until he dropped over dead. I got a lot of shame-faced "yes ma'am"s while Henry drove the truck out of the mess as though there was no snow at all. Idiot!

You're not a busybody nor a shrew. I love what you did. I hope that young man learned a lesson today that will stay with him.
