Hi Sunny, You might try some of the on-line Canadian pharmacies. When I fall into the donut hole in Social Security where I have to pay full price, I use the Canadian pharmacies. Do a google search and you'll find lots of them. And you can specify the drug, strength, quantity and they'll quote you a price which is almost always waaaaaaaayyyyy less than what you pay in the US. You can also select the originating country for the drug if not mfd in Canada. I get most of mine from New Zealand or Australia via Canada. Go figure. I've done this for several years and have never had a problem.
Sunny, I am very happy that you have found some relief and that it continues for you. Regarding side effects, you should definitely be aware of them but not intimidated. We live in such a litegeous society that pharmaceutial companies need to post every possible thing that could happen. My experience has been that most of the side effects don't occur.
I'm so glad you're feeling better!! And I'm interested reading about your pain management (since I'm slowly developing more aches and pains that are not going away, sigh). The low polyamine diet sounds very interesting.
Me neither. If this is a spelling or grammar test I fail for sure. When all is said and done I hope I am remembered for something other that either of those! Taria
Hey, this is my thread. No spelling or grammar allowed. I find both to be oppressive and the cause of needless consternation. In the future, please make sure that posts on threads that I start have neither spelling nor grammar as both make me dizzy and give me the vapors.
As an ex teacher of English, I am officially retired from noticing stuff like this. If it makes sense, it's OK. If the error give us a giggle, it's a bonus.
Sunny, I'm definitely going to have to file away in the back of my mind the existance of this clinic, it's wierd, but the medical community on the eastside (15 miles from Seattle, across Lake Washington), seems very disconnected from the facilities in Seattle, other than for children. We have most things available, but it doesn't have to be something that out of the ordinary when if you do your own research you find going into Seattle is the best option, but the local doctors don't know about it. I ended up going to the ER at the UW a few weeks back, I needed medical attention, but it was something ongoing that I'd been getting nowhere with and I hoped they might be able to patch me up but also direct me in the direction or more help and they did, I had a procedure at Harborview this week that my doctors on the eastside knew I needed, but didn't know where to send me!
If I'd have realised the nature of some of your pain, I'd have given you the name of a doctor here in Bellevue, he prescribed me a cream a couple of years ago that sounds quite similar, it was actually a blend of multiple prescription medicines you usually take orally and it worked miracles on certain pains, it has to be compounded and only from one pharmacy, in Kent, but they mailed it to me, so I only visited the doctor once. Let me know if you do want the details for future reference.
Sunny, I don't know how I missed this thread but, I am so happy for you! I can 'hear' the hope in your post and to find this cream that actually works, it equals a near miracle. One friend of mine in Canada uses it also and she swears by it. I am so very happy for you! Donna
