OT hotel in London

Friend of mine plans to visit London in August along with 2-3 teenage girls. She's looking for a cheap, clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly and convenient hotel or B&B. Yeah, I know, pretty near impossible! But maybe one of you has stayed in such a place recently? (You don't ask, you don't get!) Roberta in D

I have stayed at Premier Inns very happily with the boys. Those in central London are more expensive, but if you get one further out and on a tube line you can get a good deal.

time we stayed at the Edgeware one - 10 mins walk to the tube, also I have also used the Travelodge at Kew Bridge - again 10 to 15 mins from the tube, but this one overlooks the river. They do an excellent cooked breakfast too - which helps fill hungry teenagers.

Ibis at euston station It is very clean, and has a majour bus and underground terminal just round the corner across the street, like a couple of minutes, so you can get anwhere fast. but you cannot see the stations as it is secluded by trees etc. I is central . I have stayed in Ibis in paris as well, you can google them. Have also stayed at the Ibis out near heathrow overnight a couple of times so I would not have to get to the airport for early flights.

We stayed in a great B&B in London. Primrose House. It was just about 2 blocks from a tube station. In fact the second time we stayed there we arrived at Heathrow got our suitcases and hopped the tube to it. Rolled our suitcases 2 blocks to their place. Very convenient.

Wonderful hosts. We did all the booking on-line very easily. We will definitely stay there whenever we visit London.
