OT - I'm back from the edge of the world

Hi all,

I have been to the edge of the world and back - I had no computer for over a week, plus I have been working and doing the real life stuff.

I have joined a craft group, at the Baptist Church at Rosebud, on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, Vic. Australia and have been taught how to make cuddly teddy bears. I'm on to my second one and thoroughly enjoying it.

I have also been shown how to use water colour paints and pencils to create something different - I have been doing that for only three weeks but I enjoy it so much.

Pics up later about my teddy bear (first one) and of the water colour painting picture I have done.

I was having severe withdrawal symptoms without my computer, but I'm on track again - thank goodness.

Regards, Di

To get you on topic, you'll just have to try making teddy bears out of old quilts. Back in my bear days, I found some quilts with parts good enough for bears. The quilt teddy bears have been much loved. Polly

Hello Donna and Polly,

It is so good to be 'human' again.

Thank you both for your posts.

Polly, I had thought about doing a quilted teddy, and have decided after reading your post Mumma teddy will be my next one.

Regards, Di
