First, many thanks to all that sent cards: April, Dave, Tammy, Carol, Jessica, Linda, Mel, Teresa, Kate, M-C & Deb. All the cards are wonderful and set out for all who visit to see what wonderful friends I have here. M-C, I've so needed something to work on to take my mind off all that's going on and your gift was the ticket! I've spent alot of time @ doctor's offices with my Mom and I have started on one. When I finish I'll post it.

I recieved a box from April and one from the SSS! They are under the tree. So hard not to tear into them, it's hard to be a good girl when I'm such a bad girl! LOL Thanks to Deb for keeping all posted on what I recieved and the status of my computer.

With over 500 messages to read I had to mark them read and start over. Prayers have been sent up for all who need them.

The newlyweds are doing well. They are so ready to leave for Ft. Bragg. DS is nearly climbing the walls. They want to stay for Christmas but then they will be leaving shortly afterwards. I so understand their excitement. Melissa got her drivers liscense on Wednesday!!!! YEah!! That was the last of my goals for her before she left.

My computer is finally running. I basically have an entirely new computer as DH ran into alot of problems. He ordered the wrong motherboard and the memory I had was incompatible, as was the power supply. Even worse was the fact that the connecting thingys for the hard drives and optical drives, well there were only two so that meant that I could have both hard drives hooked up, or both my DVD burners hooked up or one of each. I ended up spending some of my Christmas money on a type of hard drive that plugs into the motherboard differently so I could have all my things that I used to have. I still have some glitches, I think I'll have to uninstall/reinstall things like my printer, scanner and tablet. But all in all it's good to be back!!!!

Well I just got back last night and am trying to get through all the messages, and reply to everyone. It is nearly impossible so hopefully people will understand if I somehow miss replying!

I am glad that you are enjoying your present and that it was just the thing for you to bring and work on when you are at this or that Dr.s office. I am afraid that time got away from me and I wasn't able to call you, but it is on my to do list for tomorrow.

I hope your mom is getting better quickly and am still praying that you'll find a doctor who doesn't think you have to suffer for decades before they fix your knee. That is what I did and let me tell you that is was really dumb on my part. You can get it done now and enjoy it and so what if you need it done again in 30 years. None of the implanted knees from 25-30 years ago have had catastrphic mechanical failures, or so I'm told, and the technology is even better now. I don't see why they want you to suffer. As one doctor told me, do you want to be able to enjoy life now or when you are in your 70's or both?. So I hope that you will find someone who will agree to make it all better now!

Hugs, M-C
