OT Introducing Misty kitten

Of course! She does like that one (it's usually on my lap!) Her eyes will stay that lovely colour. My Birmans have eyes like sapphires, Misty's are more aquamarine. . In message , IMS writes

Thanks Taria. She is lovely, and last night's 'playtime all together with the big boys' was peaceful and fun - no hisses! And, they all came (from wherever) when I called out 'playtime'!! I couldn't believe my eyes.

I'll try that cat of the day page. Haven't heard of it before. Thanks >g< . In message , Taria writes

Thanks Roberta! Her face mask will expand a bit; and the darker ears and legs will darken - over time. . In message , Roberta writes

I have a 9 yr. old ragdoll that is about like a child in their terrible

2's!!! He's extremely intelligent and VERY curious. However, he does like getting into trouble-nothing serious, just very busy. I've had him only for 2 years, so I don't know what he was like as a kitten. I got him when my cousin died, and he and a silver back Persian needed a new home. He's very laid back in that not much bothers him. Gen

OOoooh Noooo! Terrible 2's at 9. Heaven help me!! Misty is very bright and curious, too. Right from about day 2!

It is lovely to witness, but hard to cope with. My Tiffany is similarly bright and problem-solving.

Getting into trouble might not bother them, but what about me >gg< ?

Pat, she's adorable!!! I'm very much a cat person, with four of my own, plus a dog and some fish... Only my husband keeps me from being the Crazy Cat Lady, and he's actually responsible for two of the four we have, and he's why we have the fourth as well, even though I found her!

What a sweetie! Where did you get her? I've been off line due to a dead computer so if you posted that already, sorry for asking again. She looks like a Lilac Point Himalayan -- any idea if this is true?? CiaoMeow >^;;^<

She's a little bit more complicated than that Mary! (Well, longer anyway!) She 's a blue tabby mitted Ragdoll >g< The 'tabby' seems to come together a bit on her nose which is perhaps why it looks 'solid' I got her from a breeder about 30 miles away from here. She has US Ragdoll blood in the line via her father. Her Mum's line is British Ragdoll.

The breeder's prefix is Midnightstar (she has a website, with pictures of her 'tribe'). . >

Thanks Debi. She's very sweet, except with our Tiffany. Perhaps because they have similar colouring? I can't make it out? I hope to goodness she stops tantalising him soon, or he's bound to snap and give her a swipe. I hate it when they squabble. . In message , Debi Matlack writes

Actually, all of mine do seem to be quite dog like - they do tricks, can be trained (to a certain extent and perform only when they feel like it!!); and definitely follow. Glad you like her! I think this one will grow up to be the same. Luckily, though, there is the very feline washing and toiletting which is a huge advantage! . In message , Pat in Virginia writes

She may soon decide that every closed door must be opened. When I got Klaus I was told he has 3 jobs in life----chase other cats, get as high as he can on cupboards, and open all closed doors. He only chases if he wants to play. Not allowed on cupboards, so how come when we're not in the kitchen we hear a thud of cat hitting the floor? As for closed doors--oh my. He especially thinks our sliding closet doors need opening about 4 AM frequently---a squirt gun changes his mind. In one house my cousin had they had the doors with handles and not knobs. She had to tape them shut so he couldn't go where he wasn't supposed to. He's a busy one. Gen

Oh Wow! We're already seeing the 'get as high as possible'!! and, most certainly, the chasing. I'll just hope she doesn't know about the 'door challenge' >g< We have handles >g< What amazes me is the way she finds routes everywhere! Perhaps we should take her out of school and send her to work?! Do they have cat circuses? . In message , Gen writes
