With Dh and I trying to have children, I wish I could have your occupation. No I am not under any delusions that it will be any easier than employment outside the home, in fact I expect it to be harder and more demanding. Not to forget worth every minute spent if you can survive the teenage years. :-)
I am currently attempting to position myself within my current field so that my husband doesn't have to work and will be able to stay home with whatever bundle of joy we are blessed with. He is self employed in a career he doesn't like (don't ask how that happened - we haven't figured it out yet :-) ) and is happy to step up to the plate for this.
If anyone ever tells you that you copped out by choosing to stay at home, tell them to take a long walk off a short pier in Polly's Gator pond.
