Catching up...

yeah right. Who am I kidding? Just because I get two blocks done doesn't mean I am anywhere near catching up. Ah well. At least there is something to be called progress.

I did manage to complete the May BOM (bad BOM mommy...bad, bad, bad to be so far behind) and posted the picture at

I've also managed to finish a block for the Carol Doak group, and I'm gonna post that in my webshots album shortly as well, just in case you want to see.

I'm getting closer on my mom's b-day wall hanging. Although she's not getting it by her birthday, since that's on Tuesday! At least she knows that her present is in process and she'll get it when I finish it. *sigh* Too many things to do and not nearly enough time to do it all in!

*Very* nice, Dannielle! Both the BOM blocks and the challenge block for Carol's group. :)

WOW -- your Carol Doak block is gorgeous! Looks like the beginnings of a Mardi Gras Celebration quilt!

Don't you just love how paper piecing gives you such precise and perfect points! And YOU did it so well!

Thanks Kate. I'm thrilled that the error I made doesn't show up in the photo! *grin* Now I just have to figure out how to fix it without taking the whole block apart and starting all over again. The only bad thing about paper piecing are those tiny little stitches that you just can't get the seam ripper under!

Yeah, I'm loving paper piecing, except when I mess it up....which I do often! Practice, practice, practice!
