OT, prayer chain needed

Hi All,

I have been busy making quilts from all of the orphan blocks and fabric sent to me., except for the last couple of weeks.I have been reading posts but have been so busy, I can't answer. I need a prayer chain for myself. My breast cancer might be back in my colon. Started having problems about a month ago and my testing begins next week with the colonoscopy on the 8th.

As soon as this is over, I will be back to my quilts for Pine Ridge. I have 12 I am sending off this coming week. I would have more but living room lined panels needed to be sewn quickly as the weather has finally cooled off.

Keep me in your thoughts.

Hugs, Deanna Roanoke, VA

Prayers and healing thoughts for you. Here's hoping your tests show nothing at all or something minor and easily fixable.

HUGS and prayers and positive thoughts for your upcoming colonoscopy - may it turn out negative, negative, negative (the test, NOT the thoughts!)

Heads up for getting ready for the colonoscopy - drink that laxative stuff through a straw!!! (It bypasses the tastebuds that way and you won't gag! I did it with a straw and had no problem -- other than you can't get more than 15 feet away from the bathroom! On the other hand, DH did the "guy-thing" and tried to gulp it down and had a horrible time.) The test itself is not difficult at all, but the preparation ahead of time is the hardest. Been there, done that.

Absolutely! Wish I'd thought of the straw. Ugh!

Thank you all.... I have had a colonoscopy before. I'm not looking forward to the prep at all. I sure will be glad when this week is over. Keep the prayers coming.
