OT Question about AVG

We have noticed that EVERY email that comes into the inbox has a paper clip icon next to the subject line in the list of incoming emails. There are no attachments on any of the emails and we know that there wasn't supposed to be an attchement, either. Is this something everybody experiences with AVG? We are using the free trial version right now. TIA

yes, Leslie, that little icon is AVG's reassurance to you that the incoming e-mail has been scanned

There is a setting within AVG that allows you to get rid of the icon... I hated the thing lol... If you go to the email properties, and then configure, it is the one that says certify that is responsible for the paperclip. HTH

Carissa (PS I bought fabric yesterday so its now semi on topic :)
