Thanks so much for the prayers! Mom did have surgery--even though she's never had abdominal surgery, she had a huge adhesion that had kinked the small bowel like a folded garden hose. With that resolved, she feels much better and should make a good recovery. We're all breathing a little better here! God is good--and so are you guys.

owie, I think, but am not certain that having babies can have an effect, everything gets squashed so much less damage is needed to form some scar tissue and an adhesion that causes problems later on and things inside the intestines can cause generalised inflamation that causes the cycle that leads to it all, it's nothing straight forward! Whilst adhesions are more common with a past surgery, there are not exclusive to it, I've not had abdominal surgery, until they had to go into to check there wasn't an adhesion! (there wasn't, and I think just going into look isn't likely to cause it)
