Thank you, Jeanne. I don't have plans for it but that pattern may be just the thing for the next beginner that comes through here. It could happen. I'm thinking it would be lovely in sweet floral pastels. Polly

Thanks -- that's a keeper. If you are one of those looking for a free version of Yellow Brick Road or Turning Twenty, take a look at this one; it looks very similar to me.

yup florals would be luvely (sic). could also see this nice in brights...hmmm, could sash in black with those and t'would be an easy eyeball opener, specially if theres a FQ of LIME in there too, lol. zing zing zing :)) sure is good for beginners. great practice for rotary cutting and sewing straight seams but no points to fret about. tis a pleasure to find one of these and pass it on. wish i'd thot of it myself, lol. cheers, jeanne

thanks for those hugz i might well need'em. i'll do my best but not sure i can toss them 'that' far. :) i've had the odd flowers over the yrs. that said, by the time V Day is done i dont wanna see flowers til mothers day, then only cuz i gotta help then too. its mentally and physically exhausting. whatcha bet we do/say/nutt'n for our 30th coming up 4th march. oh well, partly my own fault i guess. tho dh is not one for celebrating much of anything, had to twist his arm for the kids birthdays when they were little even. argh. cheers, jeanne

you could get them made in assembly line fashion. organize a group, each bringing X # of FQs. coordinate those colours however you fancy and divide the work accordingly. heck could nearly be done during guild meetings with folks changing among could even get them finished on the day if you're well organized in advance. know exactly how many blocks for each quilt, cut the battings ready, have pinners at the ready, then a few who are quick in quilting, nothing fancy, then some to attach binding all by machine would do for that project, eh. could work during guild meetings with short periods of time on various bits so they dont miss their other guild stuff. it is all regular quilters things so should be able to switch folks in and out of any of the bits without any bother at all. just be sure you all agree on prewashed or not in advance. :) the the price is right for a guild too. enjoy! jeanne Our guild is thinking of making baby quilts with our odds and ends - this
