OT - Troll header

This is just amazing to me what the headers say on the porntroll posts.

I would imagine the best way to combat this is just simply to NOT give it ANY replies or comments. Soon enough when the "tee hee" factor wears off, it goes away.

~KK in BC~ who is still around, still not sewing a stitch but soaking up all your wonderful quilts!!

Looks like they wouldn't do much, unfortunately.

Here's what I found when looking through Google's Groups information pages:

You understand "that all data, text, information, links and other content (collectively, "Content"), whether posted in public or restricted groups, is the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated. This means that you, and not Google, are entirely responsible for all Content that you publish, post, upload, distribute, disseminate or otherwise transmit (collectively, "Post") via the Service. You understand that by using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable."

and

"Google does not pre-screen, control, edit or endorse Content made available through the Service and has no obligation to monitor the Content Posted via the Service."

Well, it did say that you could be banned if you posted p*rn without a warning to minors. They did do that so perhaps Google will at least block those messages and not archive the ones we've gotten so far.
