OT: Update -Happy

Hi All,

Most tell you that Mom is doing great. She was here for Thanksgiving, my sister brought her. She really likes the nursing home. They have all sorts of activities bowling, quoits and volley ball. I thought she was kidding, but they play volley ball with balloons. All the activities are adjusted for the residents. She gets her nails done every week and is scheduled for a perm tomorrow.

It is so hard to believe how well she has come back after the diabetic coma. We thought for sure that she was leaving us. Now she says that she'll be around for five more years to celebrate 90 years, and I believe she just might.

Ah, well... Thing is she now has something interesting to look forward to as well as folk that make sure she does her insulin properly. It's amazing what regular little checks and things to do can do for a soul! Enjoy her as long as you have her.
