I just wanted to let all you good folks know that my dear cousin passed away last night. His wife said it was very peaceful, and he was surrounded by his family and many friends. A priest was there also. They said prayers and his wife and children were holding his hands when he died.
I am so glad my sister and I were able to drive up to see him and spend time with him this past Sunday. He looked at us, he raised his hand so we could hold it. He knew we were there. I am so thankful he died peacefully and without a lot of pain or discomfort, with his family at his side. His wife said it was the most beautiful passing she could imagine, and she is very thankful for that.
Last night I had the most amazing dream of him - I honestly feel as though he blessed me with a visit, to say goodby. While I woke up crying I also felt much more at peace.
Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts; if you could spare a few more in the direction of his wife and childern, they will need all the strength they can muster over the next few days and indeed from now on.
