OT Very exciting moment!

For those of you following the Ash saga, a new thing today!

He has been drawing all three clues from various episodes of Blue's Clues that he has seen, complete with the explanation Steve or Joe gives about how to draw it.

Today he drew, a circle, cheese, and a can of tomato sauce, (from an episode where they went out for pizza) and showed it to me, then handed me his bowl. I asked "Ash wants pizza?" This immediately triggered the "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Ash happy dance.

So we ordered a pizza. Sort of a celebration for communications facilitated by a blue cartoon puppy.

This is exactly why reading the ng is so much more rewarding than reading the newspaper! Roberta in D

Roberta, you are just absolutely so right. While earthlink and mindspring were having the begoadys, it felt like some of us had just been shoved off the earth. Polly

Right on! Communication is SO important! Way to go Ash! And pats on the back for Mom for realizing how BIG this is! The saddest thing for me is to see little ones that need help to function in this world and their parents just shrug it off. Ash is so lucky to have a Mom who cares enough to help him work on it!
