Oz fabrics

Yesterday I went to a quilt "airing". There was one quilt that I really liked, it was done in fabrics from down under. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good source here in the US? Bonnie NJ

Electric Quilt used to have quite a good range, but I haven't checked lately. Otherwise try an Aussie supplier on line. Logan's in Sydney usually has a good range of indigenous prints.

carries a line of Australian fabric, and also African fabric. When the Australian fabric came in I had to buy 6 different cuts. They were sooo cool.

BTW - they ship anywhere in the world. In fact, they have a couple of fabric stores that buy from them because it is cheaper to buy AU fabric and have it shipped from the USA then buy it in AU from a wholesaler. Go figure.

M and S Fabrics has a distributor in the US. I will see if I can find the info on it. So local shops can get fabrics without much difficulty.

Ooooh yes - I love the fabric this lot put out. I usually only get it at shows and such but it is great quality and reasonably priced.
