I'm going to try again this year, but I'll just drive over for the day. A quilter couldn't get a room at this late date!

Leslie: You can always try for a one night stand .... er, lodging. Many or most of the Paducah visitors will require long stays, but a few will change from 5 to 4 nights. Consequently, there may be some single nights available, some now, some at last minute. PAT in VA/USA PS: Good luck with your moving. Do you need me to come pack up your finished quilts and chocolate?

If I just go for the day then I don't have to worry about searching out a doggy sitter in my new town. I think that would be for the best for all of us to not add a stranger coming into the new/old house..... and that's if The HairyButts are settled enough to leave them for a full day. I'll have to play it by ear. But the up side is that I can be there whatever day works out for a meet-up. ;-)

I never know whom my anti-everything protection will pick on but today it's Pat in Virginia. I wouldn't have seen her post if Maureen hadn't carried it forward. PLEASE report back to us about what you saw, what you bought, meetings, happy times, classes.... details. Those of us who can't be there in person will want you to share all the details with us. nope - but I'll be in Chicago for the weekend before! I've signed up for at least 4 workshops!

Leslie, I had not realized you were moving to a new town. Is this any closer to a good LQS? :) As to a date for meet up, IF I go to Paducah, I will be a passenger in a friend's van, so will not have total control over my itinerary. Will work on this as the time is closer. You, Maureen, and I need to keep in touch via email. Plus, so far I don't know if my vacation request was approved. PAT in VA/USA
