to be found in my Machine Embroidery album. I finished working on the Winston piece today: it measures 7.5"x7.5", contains 302,290 stitches worked in a diamond grid and without time for thread changes (13), bobbin changes ( 3 at approx 75,000 stitches each), 2 machine timeouts and multiple thread breakages was timed at 9.30hours. In real time, I started the project yesterday afternoon and finished it today. I really do need to acquire thread charts to help in colour selections of my multiple generic rayons. barnyowl

OH my goodness! How GORGEOUS. I missed you and wondered what you were up to - hoping it was 'no good', of course. Certainly, The Winston must be framed and I insist that you be very careful about using acid free stuff. That treasure must be preserved to cherish forever. Polly

Shall have to pose the other babies for similar treatment too! I'm glad that you approve ....... barnyowl

Thank you - glad you like them! barnyowl

Thank you, Louise - fun to work with the photos and to watch them develop again under the machine needle. barnyowl
