Those are soooooh cute! Is there a pattern for them, or did you make it up?
BOOKMARKED! :) And yes, A4. They are so neat, and will be perfect next year as prezzy boxes for things like earrings and other tiny stuff...
Wow! Treasures in themselves, like Faberge eggs! :)
I bet - like the fabric bowls! :)
>I just used a lightweight sew in interfacing that I had on hand from some clothes making projects! And I lvoe it!

interfacing did you use? I tried one with Timtex, but it was too stiff. Nancycog in MD
THANKS FOR SHAREING-SO NICE TO SEE SOMETHING NEW
Sounds perfect Dannielle! You just need that little bit of extra stiffness so I can see how that would work great. Aren't they cute? KJ
And, Kate, you could make a really decorative one for 'your brides' - from scraps of their wedding dresses + decoration, with a little something inside, like a good luck for their marriage? . In message , Kate XXXXXX writes
OH yes! Wouldn't Kate's scraps make lovely ones??? The pattern can print pretty small when printed directly off the webpage....but I printed it out and cut one of those out too! It's teeny, but also very cute! It would hold a ring. KJ
The cutest little boxes I've ever seen. If you ever do one in pink for Breast Cancer...I'd love to see it. Pami
There's a neat idea Pami. It would be fun to decorate pink ones for fund raisers! I have some pinkish batik ones already cut out but not yet decorated. I hope today is a better day for you and that each day is better than the previous ones. Baby steps. KJ
Hey that what I made for Christmas this year too! Lovely!!!!!
Here's a pic of my prototype (click next after that one to see the stitched bottom and the inside):
Those are really nice, Melissa. Every time I see one of them, I say I'm going to make one, but so far I just haven't got it done!
Gosh, I really like these little boxes! :)

Wow! I really like that, though it looks like a lot of work.

Some have mentioned that they dislike cutting them out the most. I, however, have zigzagged all of my edges, and to me that is the absolute slowest part when I am in a real hurry....
Other than my impatience, they really are very easy to make! And you can comfortably fit two Lindt chocolates inside!

I'm thinking that IF I get my cooking and cleaning done before Christmas eve, I might have a quiet evening making them as table favors for my family. We'll see.....as you see, that's a big IF!!!! They are irrestible. KJ
