Pink or Blue?

Pink or Blue? is the name of my February 2010 Journal Quilt, overall size 7" x 10" It is a Valentine-ish quilt made using fusible applique and angelina hot fix fibres and was inspired by discovering I am to become a grandma, but not knowing yet whether my daughter will have a boy or a girl. The fabrics were left over from two baby quilt tops I made during the month.

congrats, grandma. green seems to be the current trend to get our planet back on track. how about some bright LIME tossed in with other greens for good measure. . works for me. j.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I really don't know if what I'm doing is "contemporary" (there is whole can of worms there alone!), but I am intending to try out techniques and fabrics that are not so suitable for bed quilts etc. Now i shall have to wait and see what inspires me during March.
