Presencia thread- again

I had five unopened spools of Presencia thread from the multi-spool package that I had bought some time ago. Here's photos of the five unopened spools and another photo of the adhesive dots on two of the spools.

Strange, but these three dark colored thread spools were the only spools out of the large multi-spool package that did not have the adhesive dots. Presencia thread is nice to sew with, granted, but only after I threw out about 10+ yards of thread from each spool that had the adhesive residue on it. Check your spools before you open them and return any with the dots on them.... that's what I'd suggest any way.

Strange Leslie. One thing a friend of mine did complain about with Prescencia is the embossed letters on the end of the spool. She said her machine got hung up on the letters, so she has stopped using it. I'm not sure if she was referring to her Pfaff or her long arm. It has not been a problem for me. I think I would complain to your quilt shop or internet shop, wherever you purchased the thread. Especially about the knot in the thread. Harriet Hargrave highly recommends the Prescencia & she may have some connection with the distributor - I don't remember the details.
