Progress!

DH was gone for almost a week, returning home from visiting his mom just last night. I decided to make that week a sort of marathon piecing session, and I made the deadline I hadn't thought I'd make. :) I really wanted the top to my Eureka quilt (started at camp the week before) to be finished when DH got home so I could show him that much, at least, of his new quilt. And I did it! :)

It's approximately 70" x 87" (Jackie Robinson calls this a lap-sized quilt, but she's lots taller than I am ), and DH likes it -- primarily because his favorite color is purple and this has lots of purple. I've posted a photo at the bottom of on my web site. Now I think I'll take a day or two off.... ;)

Sandy,

I don't reply to a whole lot of posts when people display their quilts but I was taken aback by this beautiful quilt. The colors are fantastic and the design is very appealing. This is definitely one of those quilts where you step back and say Wow!

Congratulations!

Wow, that is great. I really love the pattern. Is the pattern being sold or is it only available in class form? I rarely like any predesigned patterns- but this one is fabulous!

I can see how different colors can be used- but I think your choices make the quilt! Keep us posted after your break on you plans on quilting it.

Dust particles in the air reflect the sunlight to show the sky as blue. If you press that button your dirty laundry will multiply, expedentially and your computer will implode, if you get really close the dirty socks will sneak off, slowly, one at a time, and its always lunchtime, somewhere. The word 'Eureka' means "I have found it" ...what did this quilt find? Diana
