Way to go James! Great job! I know you've had a very experienced teacher, but you still executed everything wonderfully! Congratulations.
What a talented son you have, Kate. He did a wonderful job on those jeans. He should be proud of himself!

Kate, that is awesome! I don't think I'd ever tackle jeans and there goes your James, stitching away! As we say in the South, you done raised him up right!
So great. Better than I could have done. Our home ec teacher had several guys sign up for clothing construction this year. Makes me so happy.

Good for you, James! Well done! I am awestruck......
We are just SO proud of you, James. Well done, fine job. Polly
My gosh, Kate! Isn't he growing like a weed.
Oh and Nice Pants.
Cindy
Thankl you one and all for the kind words. I'm a VERY proud mum! :D
The jeans must be comfortable: he put them on Friday morning, and has worn them every day this weekend while we've been away visiting friends and his granddad! :D :D
Cindy, he is indeed growing like a weed! Mind you, it's the strong Scots thistle type of weed! No skinny youth this one! He's built like a brick netty: stands four square to the wind and waves break against him! I swear he came back from the scout camp at Kandersteg in Switzerland 2" taller than he went...
Ohhhh I do love these British expressions! "a brick netty" "four square to the wind"....actually I'm not just sure what that one means. :-) But I do get the picture.
Four square to the wind I know, especially living in a yatching area, but I've never hear of a brick netty!
I have a feeling it's a 'wee hoosie' down the garden? >g<
