QNN

Ok, someone turned me on to QNN and now I'll never walk away from my computer again. As if I weren't addicted enough with just the newsgroups!

QNN - Quilters News Network. It runs streaming video of quilting stuff

24/7! Why didn't anyone tell me of this long ago? Of course, if I share the link with all of you the site might crash from so many people trying to watch it...but heck, I can't keep this to myself!

Thanks to Carol Doak's group, one of the members there pointed out this site and I was actually stupid enough to give it a try!

It's been on for over a year and I'm just now finding out? Yikes!

I figured it was the same stuff over and over, but hopefully it'll stay fresh for awhile. Long enough to keep me busy and teach me something new over the next couple of months any way!

Does it go in spurts--show and then stop with the talking going on-- or does it ---continue without interruption? Not sure if it's the 'show' or my new ISP. Any help would be appreciated Butterfly

Remember that this is a "first" and they are still working on it. They are producing more shows all the time. Some of us don't get to see all the shows on TV and we may get a chance to see them on line with QNN. I try to get on some.

You can also listen to it while you read the newsgroup and stuff. Or if your computer is in your sewing room, you can have it on while you piece/quilt. Or while you are doing hand work and all sorts of stuff. If you have dial up it may not work, and it does work better with some readers than others.

Butterfly, it may be your ISP, or your reader. I have to be real fast and click when I go to it so I can use IE instead of Mozilla when I go to QNN. You can e-mail them and they will help you figure out why it is "jerky" too.
