When you make postcards do you do all the applique and quilting before you fuse the fabric to Timtex or do you quilt thru that al
I fuse my background fabric to stabilizer, do all sewing and quilting, then attatch to Timtex so the thread doesn't show through to the back.

You can go either way. I've been doing the quilting after the Timtex (actually, I'm using a lighter weight interfacing and a thin batting) to get more texture.
I do have to put two layers of fabric on the back side so my threads don't show through.
