Wow! I can see why you suggested we looked at the quilting, Kim. It is really excellent. Quilting between quilting - help!! I feel I do the minimum, even on a good day, after looking at that. Congratulations. They are both beautiful. . In message , KI Graham writes

I'll try to get a picture from the back when I take it down next week: unfortunately, I'm not as good with a camera as a sewing machine, so I find it difficult to get a clear shot, especially when it's tone-on-tone [the back of the Christmas quilt is cream thread on cream muslin.]

Sometimes you get a better look at the quilting when you don't use a flash. The contrast shows up better in the lower light.

Kim, what kind of machine do you use for the quilting? It's so beautiful! You are obviously talented. I love seeing this.

Most recently, I'm using a Babylock Quilters' Choice Professional: it is a straight-stitch only machine with a larger throat, but it's still a domestic sewing machine. [Not a long arm or mid-arm] I don't use a frame: just me, my machine [set into a large desk to give me a good surface area] and some gospel music videos to keep it mellow!
