Definitely the new one. Hopefully launched in 2016 if not cut in the current financial state of our Country.

Mine has to be ready for the 2012 Selsey Quilt Show :-). So will be launched sooner.

HMS Alliance - Nuclear Submarine

The year - 2035

The now aging nuclear submarine HMS Alliance has been in service for over twenty five years. Alliance has been specially rebuilt to allow Special Service soldiers and Marines to be inserted into hostile areas whenever required. A squadron of Special Boat Squadron (SBS) Marines had been inserted ashore from the submarine on a clandestine mission to destroy a shore base and has succeeded in successfully attacking it and blowing it up.

The quilt shows the Alliance using an underwater cliff to disguise her movements as she turns and dives in a desperate attempt to make for safety. Just as she was accomplishing this, an Anti Submarine Warfare (ASW) helicopter turned up and bracketed the Submarine with ASW sonar buoys to aid detection. All more than enough noise and action to scare two passing dolphins out of their wits as they flee to deeper water.
