Ahhhh ... feathers! I do love feathers. I suppose it could be very useful to get yet another viewpoint on how to do them; I've only had four so far. ;)

That is lovely ! I like the combination that you used of the diff lights and darks and colors , as well. Did you have to do a lot of planning for that? One of my guild members had a lovely sampler quilt, too, that had a good combination of values and colors and somehow I don't think I'd have the confidence in trying one. I might try something in EQ first ! Mary

Thanks Judie and Alice! I've challenged myself and spent a lot of hours trying to develop my free motion skills. Alice, you'd think that string quilt would have helped reduce my stash. That was the purpose. Somehow, though, I seem to have just as much as ever!!
