That's almost magical. The healing power of working with one's hands, creating something that comforts and is beautiful, the joy of handling textures and playing with colors ... I wonder if this program has benefits beyond keeping prisoners quiet and producing lovely quilts?

TYhis is the UK version, whcih has been going for some time. It has spread to women's prisons and MH institutions.
