Re: More finished

Happy Dance and 3 cheers for Picasa!

Book and Wintery quilt I made for DGS. The wildlife quilt isn't quite finished, but should be by tomorrow!

Sally, I must have missed earlier showings of Reuben's quilts etc. So it was a delight to see a picture of him a little older - and all those lovely quilts. He'll have one for every day of the week very soon! I can quite appreciate how much you are enjoying doing those! Great use of interesting fabric. I love that little book. . Thanks, the book was fun to do, but took longer than I expected. DS sent a lovely video this afternoon of Reuben in his baby walker with the book on the little tray and opened at the cat page. He seemed fascinated by the new texture/bright colours - he kept having a little play with the fixed plastic rings on the tray of the walker and then going back to the book. Made all the hours worthwhile. Babies are fun.

This is the end of quilts for him for a while (Very hungry caterpillar planned for when he is a little older). The fleece backed ones were requested - they aren't too big so can be used in the car, or one of his buggies - he has 3 - a normal multipurpose one, a specially sprung one for DS to take him out on runs in, and now a very lightweight one as DDinL is only small and couldn't manage heaving the big one into the car boot/trunk. (Her caesarian scar isn't very good, and she will have to have it put right at some stage).

Now I will be able to get > Sally, I must have missed earlier showings of Reuben's quilts etc. So

DS sent me a video today of Reuben in his baby-walker thingy playing alternately with the fixed plastic beads and his book - opened at the cat page. Its a completely different feel to anything else he has and is small enough for his little hands to grip and move it around. Makes the time it took to make really worthwhile.
