just a guess but surely you can find free online links with every possible technique explained and with pix. save those files/pages and just start doing it. not rocket science. soon enough you'll realize that different ways work best for different projects/pieces. just do it. j.

...and dont forget all the videos on utube.com its all FREE and you can look at them over and over. if still confuddled by something ask folks here to clarify whatever. geez louise, save the $ for stash to sew all that lovely applique. it really is easy peasy. j.
