Reflecting on the past year---quilting-wise

I was updating my web shots album today so that all of the photos of my 2006 quilts were documented. I realized---I got a lot done this year!!! I had been thinking that I really had not accomplished much this year because since I have been making t-shirt quilts for others, there is nothing tangible in the house for me to look to for proof. Well, folks, the photos speak for themselves and I can proudly say that 2006 was a good year for me in terms of quilting! (Not bragging---just amazed!) Judy, the flowers-on-black (Pam Bono design) is beautiful!

(And the t-shirt quilts are nifty!)

Looking good, Judy! I especially like the bright quilt, love the colors and pattern! If you get tired of it, I'll gladly give it a home!!!

My own quilting reflections this year are: I enhanced my stash quite a bit, with more thought on what a print can be used for in applique. That I need a dedicated sewing spot so my sewing time need not be wasted getting things set up to sew. That working full time means I won't get much sewing done. And that even when I haven't got enough time to sew I can still come here and read about other people's progress.

Well Done Judy! Debra in VA See my quilts at
