Today there was an open-air *fabric market*. Run by some Dutch organization, because apparently this type of event is very popular in the Netherlands. So they've been trying it out in Germany. Here's their site:

you can see what it was, except today was cold and drizzly. But whocares, fabric pheromones kept us warm! Prices were very cheap comparedto normal shops. I bought 5 meters of a turquoise print for a backing, plus a few FQs, at half of what I would expect to pay. Ran out of madmoney before I found the batik table, and that was basically a goodthing. (Really needed the backing.) But I sure hope they come back!Roberta in D

That's the one I've been to about two weeks ago, spending about EUR 200.00 on various fabrics. I tell you, the air is thick with fabric pheromones and the ground wet with FA* droolings. ;-)
