I'm going to a quilt retreat tomorrow, for the week-end . It's put on by our guild. Darn, I've got a lot of stuff to pack. At least, I'm going if I can stop crying and settle down. A month ago we looked at our Persian cat and one eye looked as if it had old blood in the iris-it had been fine earlier in the day. I took him to OSU Vet. Hospital. He had cancer in the eye, so it had to be removed. Fortunately, they don't think it had spread. Before the surgery, they found he had cardiomyopathy---thickening of the walls of the heart. So now he's on heart medicine twice a day. Over this past week-end my Ragdoll was very lethargic and not eating. Back to OSU with him. They found cancer in all of his abdominal organs---no symptoms till the week-end. We had to put him down Tuesday. That was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. My other cats had all died naturally. I can't stop crying-he was only 10. These are both the cats I got when my cousin died 4 years ago. I sure thought I'd be able to have them more that 4 years. I think this is about enough! Gen
